I have been to many Whovian, Trek and Science Fiction conventions over the years, so I thought I would post one of those memorable experiences from several years ago. Janet Fielding was a guest and I had the opportunity to work in security during the Con. I have met and worked as an actor with other actors, but im my opinion I believe Janet is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Here are a few images from that Con.

Janet and I at the signing table after everyone had passed through for autographs.
Janet was really energetic and upbeat during the entire convention. She had a smile for every fan even though it was a long day, and we all knew she was getting tired and was fighting a headache.
We talked for awhile after convention. It was interesting to learn that we were both the same age (that means timeless if you're nosey) and she graduated with a degree in Dramatic Arts.
Afterwards, I couldn't resist the chance to sneak into the Tardis for a quick trip. The Doctor was away so I just slipped in. Of course, that seems how everyone ends up in the Tardis, just a quick look inside then you're traveling all over the universe!
You know it is actually bigger on the inside that it is on the outside! Hmmm, could it be dimensionally transcendental? I think I have heard that from you know Who?
Every good Time Traveller must have a companion accompany them and so my companion popped into the Tardis as well. Not unlike Tegan, Nyssa, or Peri, my companion is a very good traveller and much nicer to look at than me!
The Tardis console! It appeared to be in working order, but you never can tell.
I reversed the polarity of the neutron flow, and would you believe nothing happened?!! It was then that I discovered the doctor had removed the time element. But that was ok. We had a fun time looking around the cloisters of the Tardis. Some rooms were still there, but I'm afraid the bathroom was jetisoned in "Castrovalva." So just where do you suppose the Doctor goes?
After leaving the Tardis we decided to visit Bessie. Although her bonnet has been extended since the Doctor drove her some time ago, she was still in excellent shape.
Here is another view of Bessie from behind. She was actually fixed up for the episode of "The Five Doctors" and still started and ran here.
I figured it couldn't hurt just to hop in and take her just once around the parking lot.
Ok, so the ropes gave me the impression, the Doctor would not be amused if I did take Bessie for a ride, but it was still fun just to sit in the same place where the Doctor had been on some of his adventures.
The music on this page is also available in MP3 format. I really like the orchestration. Questions? Feel free to contact me by email at Drwho@activenets.com.
